What do you get when you mix 3D animation, an independent short film, and Kafkaesque paranoia? A really good short Canadian film that I really just had to repost.
Directed by Trevor Cawood and produced by Robin Hays.
Great Find!
Speaking of Kafkaesque paranoia, I caught a great 1985 comedy thriller called “After Hours.” It’s directed by Martin Scorsese (best known for The Departed and Gangs of New York and written by Joseph Minion. It’s a kaleidoscope of events and people that bring to life the surrealism of corporate boredom in which one man’s every move undoubtedly causes a chain of events that go dreadfully wrong in a matter of hours. It’s a rather strange and vastly different film.
