Die Nacht der Lebenden Loser

What happens when you combine Zombies with American style teen-movies and then let a German film crew have at it?
I don’t know what was funnier, German’s take on American teen movie clichés or the hilarious romps of sex craved German teen-zombie dorks. Die Nacht der Lebenden Loser or The Night of the Living Dorks has everything you need for a low-brow budget film: blatant abuse of drugs and alcohol, brief nudity, slapstick, and of course dirty jokes.
I watched it in German with English subtitles. The over dub is pretty bad, but if you want to know what they are saying in the trailer you can find an English dubbed trailer on imdb.com. Hope you enjoy.
Oh, This looks brilliant. “animal house’ meets ‘night of the living dead’ meets ‘dorm daze’. And in German. Everything has topped sliced bread until we reached ‘Black Sheep’. It’s an event horizon of cheesy zombie goodness.
I was thinking American Pie, or in this case Apfel Strudel, meets Armies of Darkness with a couple John Hughs, Revenge of the Nerds, and Lost Boys references thrown in for good measure.
Alrighty, I’m so going with “Saved by the Bell” meets “Zombie Movie” meets “Scream” with total turbo nerd appeal. I am still waiting on my “event horizon of cheesy zombie goodness!”

OMG!! That site is awesome. To bad it doesn’t support RSS feeds. Etruscan, don’t be surprised if I show up at your apt. ready to barricade us in your apt. with a sniper-rifle.
