Ode to 2008 in Pop Tunes

Mash-up master Dj Earworm has made another end of the year mash-up of the top 25 hits. I was pretty impressed with the one he did last year, but this year’s mash-up is more a kin to fusion. Listening to this brings me back to my summer job working in the kitchen day in day out while top pop music streams into itself until the difference is no longer discernible.
Ok, sort of both impressed and scared….mostly scared.
What is so scary, the realization that a symphonic Coldplay instrumental could make any pop star sound good and mildly artistic?
